Which TAPCON® 230 variant is right for your needs?
The TAPCON 230 is available in three versions, each offering the most important functions for regulating power transformers. An intuitive user interface and web-based visualization enable convenient operation and easy commissioning. The Pro version is particularly suitable for applications that require additional functions such as parallel operation or tap position capture via analog or digital signals. If a connection to a higher-level control system (SCADA) is also required, the Expert version is recommended. Upgrading from the Pro to the Expert version is easy and can be done without additional hardware via myReinhausen, even after purchasing a TAPCON 230 Pro.

Can the Basic version be upgraded to Pro or Expert?
It is not possible to upgrade from Basic to Pro or Expert. If you are not sure whether some Pro or Expert functions will be required later, you should choose the Pro variant. Pro can be upgraded to Expert if a connection to a higher-level control system is required.
